  Dr. Smith is the owner of Animal Medical Center. A 1984 graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Smith is originally from Murray, Kentucky. He practiced in Evansville, Indiana prior to moving to Muncie in 1986.

  Dr. Smith is married to Linda and has three children: Ben, Daniel and Ellie. He also has Maggie, a Golden Retriever, Harry, a Cairn Terrier and 2 cats, Molly and Joey.

• Tamantha S Hickok , DVM

  
  Dr. Hickok is a Muncie native, and attended Purdue University for both undergraduate and Veterinary Degrees.  She joined the Professional Staff at AMC in 1993, after working for us during summers and  breaks while in school.  Dr. Hickok has a  son, Logan.  She also has a Great Pyrenees, Rubio, 3 cats, 1 bird, and 2 frogs. Dr. Hickok spends some of her free time hiking with Rubio, knitting for charity groups, and collecting elongated coins with Logan for their collection.

  Mandy started at AMC in 1996. She started as a kennel assistant before working as a veterinary assistant. In 2000, she became practice manager. Soon after, in 2001, Mandy graduated from Ball State. Mandy lives in Muncie with her husband, Matt and her 2 boys, Trevor & Tucker. She has 8 cats, along with fish and hermit crabs. Mandy loves to read and spend as much time as possible with her kids.

  Courtney came to AMC in March 2006. She moved back to Indiana from Colorado, where she went to school until graduating in 2004. Courtney has 2 dogs - Kendra & Indy, 2 cats - Ivan & Riot, and 1 snake - Sid. She loves the outdoors (even in cold weather), movies, and hanging out with her friends.

  Kim works for us in a variety of areas. She works primarily as a receptionist, but she also helps as a animal care assistant. Kim has worked here since March 2006. She graduated from Muncie Central in 2005. Kim stays close with her parents, her sister, and her two nephews. She has 2 dogs - Bocephus & Sadie.  Kim likes to spend time with her friends, as well as playing softball and volleyball.

  Maggie has been with us since June 2008. Maggie currently lives with her boyfriend Boyd, and her 2 children - Keylyn and Jack. She doesn't have any pets at this time, but she loves dogs especially, and hopes to have one soon.  She loves movies and music, and spending time with her kids.

• Amanda

  
  

  Amanda is a veterinary technician at AMC. She keeps our treatment and exam rooms organized and makes sure all of our hospitalized patients are well-taken care of. Amanda lives in Muncie with her husband, Jake and daughter, Ariana. She has 3 dogs - Cosmo, Astro, & Luna, 2 cats - Garfield & Nova, a chinchilla, Gizmo, and multiple fish. She likes to spend time with her daughter and she loves to read.

  Darcie is a veterinary technician for us at AMC. She started here in October 2005. Darcie graduated from Yorktown High School in 2005 and attended Ivy Tech. Darcie has one dog, Peter, a black lab. Darcie likes to read, sleep, eat and watch movies when she isn't here or working at Subway.

  Jaclyn doubles as veterinary technician and groomer. She came to us in July 2004. She graduated from Muncie Southside and attended Ball State. At home, Jaclyn has a daughter, Nancy, and 2 dogs - Sadie & Rags, and 4 cats - Motor, Corkie, Super Pete, & Chang. She enjoys reading in her spare time.

• Misty

  
  Misty has worked at AMC since April 2000. She started as an animal care assistant and worked up to veterinary technician. Misty is currently in her second year of veterinary school at Purdue University. She still comes back to work for us on her school breaks and plans to do her internship here soon. Misty has 2 dogs - Seamus & Nyka and 2 cats - Kaya & Zoe.

  Mandi is one of our animal care assistants. She typically works at our annex location making sure all of our boarders are being pampered and spoiled. Mandi has been at AMC since September 2007. She is another of our Yorktown High School graduates. She has one son, Austin, at home. She likes to read and garden when she is not at work.

  Angie has been at AMC since September 2007. She spilts her time between taking care of the boarders at our annex and assisting the Doctors at our clinic. She is currently attending Ball State with major in marketing/entrepreneurship and plans to graduate in 2010. Angie has two incredibly spoiled dogs - Milwaukee & Rubee and 3 hamsters - Mopar, Chevrolet, & Eleanor.

  Danielle came to AMC in October 2008. She loves to work with our boarders in the kennels, and she has recently started assisting the Doctors and technicians in the hospital. She is a nursing major at Ivy Tech, and plans to attend Ball State to receive her bachelor's degree. Her parents and two younger brothers live in Fort Wayne. Living with Danielle is her yorkie, Lexi and at her Ft. Wayne home are a shorkie, Maddie & shih tzu, Chloe. When not in school or working, Danielle likes to spend time with her family and friends.

• Ben

  
  Ben has been working as an animal care assistant since 2008. He is currently attending Yorktown High School and will graduate this year. He plans to attend Indiana University this fall. You might know his dad, Dr. Smith, and the rest of his family, mom - Linda, and brother and sister - Daniel and Ellie. Also at home are two dogs - Maggie & Harry, and 2 cats - Molly & Joey. Some of Ben's interests include reading, video games, football, and technology.

• Lil' Linda , One of the Real Bosses

  
  

  Lil Linda is one of our clinic cats. She and Roger are littermates. They were born at our clinic in March 2003 and have lived here ever since. Linda's frequent napping place is on our credit card machine on our front counter! She can be quite finicky about her treats, but she always keeps Roger in line!

  Big Ol' Roger is also one of our clinic cats. He is our official clinic "greeter". Roger loves to meet all of the kitties who come to see us, if he is awake. Napping is his favorite activity, although he also loves to eat!

• Miss Cola , Kennel Manager

  
  

  Cola is our clinic dog. She spends most of her days being lazy at our boarding annex, where she is kept completely spoiled. Cola is a Lab mix, and she was born sometime around July 1994. Cola's favorite things are biscuits and chicken, which she gets plenty of!
